Hello, I just bought a '71 F-250 and the brake lights did not work. I replaced the brake light switch at the pedal and they worked fine for a day, and now they just turn on when you first press the pedal and then immediately shut off. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Sounds like you may have bought a defective switch...
Just plug a jumper wire across the two terminals in the connector and see if they stay on.
If so, go get another switch.
If not, you'll have to look further!!!

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???
