Headlight Issues

Post by mpuvdd »

Hello,
On my 71 f-250 my headlights seem to turn themselves on and off after a while of driving. I've checked for grounding issues and the likes. Any ideas?

the headlight switch has a breaker in it that will shut off and turn back on when it gets old weak and overheated. there are two ways to get this fixed. one you can repalce the switch. two you can get headlight relay that bypass using the headlight switch breaker as the main power source to make your headlights work. also the headlight relays will make a full 12 volts go to your lights and make them brighter while driving.
