Interior Restoration Game Plan & Tips?

Post by 68FORDJBM »

I'm trying to clean up the interior of my 68 Ranger and I'm looking for tips and suggestions.

So far, I've removed the headliner and carpet so I can get at the surface rust. Should I remove the glass and gaskets before I prep and paint the interior. How to best treat the roof back in the corners behind the pannel where the headliner screws on?

I want it to look nice and last but I don't want to go too overboard.

i think to avoid paint peeling around the edges of the window gaskets you have to be able to sand the old paint down goo denough for the primer/paint to stick to it.
