ranger seat emblem

Post by fordman »

has anyone ever tried removign the seat emblem on thier seat to save it and put it in thier newer recovered seat? if so. is it just held onto the seat with prongs on the back of the emblem? or is it a different way of holding it onto the seat?

I have never pulled any from a Ford, but the ones on my Duster were held on by some little thin speed nuts, like the ones that hold the hood letters on the front of the hood.

Here's a pair I just happened to have in my computer desk drawer. :D I got these from a board member several years ago, don't remember the year of the donor truck.

Hey Keith; Those seat badges are from my 68 F250 camper special w?Ranger.I sent those to a member in San Diego several years ago. The interior of my truck was parchment but I was changing it to black and those badges did'nt look right. Well it's nice to see them again,I hope somebody can use them someday.
