radio issues

Post by hotrod ford »

i have a jensen cassette radio for my falco and it won't keep memory. everything is connect the way i looked online at the instructions. the only thing about it is that there is bigger wire connecte to the battery +b cable from the radio. now on this wire there is a big golden fuse that is close to the battery connection. do i need this? it looks like a fuse for some sort of high end car stereo.the b+ wire is supposed to be directly connected to the battery for my understanding. :hmm:

the straight power is for the memory of the radio. so it has to get constant power all the time. if the fuse is bad you can replace it. if it is a wierdo new type of fuse maybe it can be repalced with a older type inline tube fuse. or maybe it cant i dont know.
