Arm rests interchangable?

I'm having a hard time looking for a 68 left door arm rest. Has anyone tried different years for their arm rests? I don't want to play the guessing game.

68-72 will work, but I think some econolines will work too.

econoline vans upto 1991 i think they had them in there. 1992 was different but kind of close. it also depended on the way the van was setup. soem of the cargo vans past 1986 had a different or no arm rest.
