dent carpet in a bump????

can I use a 73 carpet in a 72???? I ordered a carpet set for my crewcab and they (npd) sent me one for a 73... at least thats what the box says.....

is your truck a 1973???? is it a dentside or a bumpside???? I thought all 73s were dentside trucks but your pics look like a bumpside.

Yeah it was complianced by Ford Australia in 1973 but Im not sure when it was made... It is definitely a bumpside though

the floors in the dentside and bumpside trucks are the same. the replacement parts are the same . so the carpet should fit.

ok, that makes sense fordman, thanks. the carpet I have is from auto custom carpets, acc, we'll see how it fits. Im now looking for the carpet part that fits the firewall under the dash, like on a ranger xlt .

i don't think they reproduce that carpet. they do make the pvc firewall covers. o ryou could get soem good autocarpet in the same color and put soem backing material on it. or use the pvc cover then put carpet over that.
