I should have searched but I never have any luck with it.
Has anybody on here made a top side creeper?

Here's a pretty cool top side creeper... I imagine it is a custom made job though.

We had one at a shop where I worked that had spring-loaded wheels; if there was no weight on it you could roll it all over the place, as soon as you start up the steps, your weight would cause the stationary feet to move past the wheels.

We had the same one. It was good enough, but it was also a bit of a pain. I ended up making my own version with a wider top platform, heavier gauge steel easier socketed uprights (for folding up and stowing, our shop's storage was TINY). Later we added a socketed top over the ladder to add a "gantry arm" that we used with a canvas sling for odd jobs.knuklz88 wrote:i work on diesels at a ford shop and got one through rotunda tech tool program it has wheel locks and is adjustable
Wish I knew what happened to that thing when the dealership closed. I'm actually looking to make another for the tractor shop.

I wish i had one yesterday when i changed the injectors and glow plugs in my 06 superduty, my ribs are sore from laying accross the radiator support and engine. now i see why ford lifts the cab off the chassie.
