Post by In FORD we trust »

Whatcha Think? I'm out of town working and I can't wait to get home to install my new seat. My wife sent me this picture.

Wow that looks great! I always wondered what it would be like to sit on a restored seat

I keep looking at the picture of my seat and i see a bubble in the middle on the vinyl. My wife says i'm nuts and it looks great. I sure hope I'm happy with it when I finally get to see it in person. I'm pretty picky. ANTICIPATION!

That seat does look nice. You will never notice the bubble/wrinkle you are talking about once it heats up and contracts several times. I know you won't see it when you are sitting in comfort driving down the road. What did that job set you back? tnbumper

No. I called about 5 shops and they were all within $25.00 So I just picked one. I am at home now looking at it and I'm OK with it. The cloth part is raised a little because its got foam and pleats. I think it will be fine if not i will have the upholstery shop add some foam in the middle. It looks better in person that it did in the picture. Still kind of a KILROY! :hmm: Springs were good and foam too, Just had to put new burlap under all of it. Tim
