Highboy power steering set up...

Post by Brett »

Ok, now that I have my highboy, I need to add power steering. What is the quickest way to do this?

I installed it this way. http://www.fordification.com/powersteering4wd.htm

I was pretty easy I thought. I can answer questions if needed.

I just finished a p/s conversion on my 69 f250 with a four bolt p/s box from a 76. I purchased the pump, lines, and steering box from advance auto parts. I thought it was a lot of work but well worth it. I would suggest bringing the truck down for a few days to do it right. It was surely worth the money if you plan on driving the truck everyday or just on weekends. I could not get the smile off my face a week straight after the conversion. :D
