tach install?

how do i install a f600 tach? i know how to install the gauge to the panel, but what about the electrical side?

if its electical it hooks to the coil i think. i have never done it. i have read that electrical tachs hook to the coil. i fit is mechanicl it has a cable similar to the speedocable and hooks up using that cable. but i dotn know what it would hook to on our trucks.

tach signal wire goes to the ignition coil ground. im sure you can figure out power and ground for the tach
