The printed circuit on my instrument cluster for the fuel gauge is kind of just hanging there so it doesn't really work. I was going to buy an autometer fuel gauge and I was wondering if I could just take the wires from the stock fuel gauge and connect them to the autometer gauge. does that seem like it would work or if you know of a quick fix that wold help to.
Thanks in advance

Re: Fuel Gauge
th incab tank fuel sender wire is orange it runs up the rear pillar of the truck throught the top of the door opening and down through the front windshield pillar. then into the cab via the hole in the upper kick panel. if you wired that qwire into the new gaue and skipped the rest fo the stuff and ran power the way the new gauge said to run it it would probably work. as well as if you ran it from the instrument cluster plug right to the new gauge. i have no idea if the new gauge requires power to it or whatever. you woul dhave to post instructions fo rme to read to tell you for sure the best way to do it.
