I know it is incomplete. But part # C5AZ13350B does apply to the signal flasher assembly. Its in the book/pic I posted, in addition to my other ford factory manual and it can be cross referenced here http://www.partsguyed.com

Also on this websites forum http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/95237 ... asher.html the same thing is being spoken of...

And mac's has it listed under the part number C5AZ-13350-B also here: http://macsautoparts.com/late-ford-pick ... 1I1000021/

Isnt the factory part number what you were after in the first place?

i was after the correct factory part number. that is a single flasher unit. not the correct flasher unit for a 67 before the change in flashers. the book doesnt show the change prior to changing the flasher unit. i had already bought this one. because i found elsewhere and was trying to confirm here. the correct looking one in this picture. part actually stamped D2TB-13350-AA. that is why i aksed the question. the one you posted about is not the same as required on the earlier 67 trucks. the book or the site do not show the pre serial number trucks wiring that uses this flasher unit. it has one male and one female plug coming from the harness from the factory. and this flasher is suppose to be the correct replacemnt for this wirign harness. that is why the book is incomplete and what you posted was incomplete. and i was and still am unsure if this is the exact factory correct flasher rating for my system. here are two examples and two other disscussion i found but none of them mention how the thing plugs in. one wire is male the other is female. but still no information on that. or the corrrect flasher rates that is why i wanted the correct part number. compare the 224 prongs to the picture of what i am suppose to use. my only remainging question is this the right part number fo rmy required flasher rate? one more thing. i would never trust folking truth eaters web site for anything.

for the earlier serial number 67 trucks sf106 http://motors.shop.ebay.com/eBay-Motors ... 282&_rdc=1

for the later serial number 67 trucks. sf101 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-For ... 20b3e8c385

Fordman, according to the Ford MPC, the correct P/N for the earlier flasher unit is C7TZ 13350-B (SF106), used on trucks prior to S/N A52,001. This is a dual-duty flasher, used for both the turn signals and emergency flashers. The D2TB number stamped on the one you have is an engineering/ID number, not a part number. Apparently Ford had a better idea when they changed the flasher in 72 (hence, the D2), and they went to an electro-mechanical unit. The flasher should have "Ever-Flash) on the back side, and it was manufactured by Truk-Lite (who acquired Signal Stat from Federal Mogul in 2002). Truk-Lite still makes a similar flasher, but none with one male/one female terminal.

The later trucks (S/N A52,001-up) use D0AZ 13350-C (SF228-S) for the turn signals and D1FZ 13350-A (SF-552-B) for the emergency flashers.

From what I can tell, 64-66 light AND heavy trucks used the same configuration as the late 67's. The early-67 version was used in most of the heavy-duty trucks BEGINNING in 66 and continuing on up through 72. That being said, since the heavy-duty trucks encountered a lot more bouncing/bumping/vibration, it stands to reason that the Ever-Flash unit is a more durable flasher or is more reliable with more current draw on it because of the additional lights on a heavy-duty truck.

If I had to guess, the C7TZ 13350-A is the original part number, which was, most likely, replaced by the C7TZ-B sometime around 1972. I've got 7 or 8 NOS C7TZ-B's (still in the Ford/Motorcraft boxes), and they are all identical to the one you have pictured.

Hopefully, this answers your question.

it does say evr flash on it. so i do have the right one. it is loud for sure too. like i was told it would be. and i like that. i bench tested it. i was doing some looking in the 64-66 heavy trucks. because i had ran across that info too. but those flashers were the same. at least i have this one now. thanks to al. for helping me confirm this.

I had one of those on my 67 when i bought it, only the wires had been cut that were connected to it. (I have no idea why they cut them off, instead of just disconnecting it. But then most of the harness was butchered.) It didn't work though, and at the time I thought it was relay, not an actually flasher unit. The pic you posted helped clear up my confusion about what you were talking about. Thank you for that.

Oddly enough I have found flasher relays that look exactly like you flasher unit there. :hmm: Wonder if there is a link there somewhere...?

Here's the link if you care to check it out. (Comes up under "Flasher Relay" & "Hazard Flasher Switch"...) http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/detai ... widzfIVGMO

i seen that myself. well not that exact one. when i was a searching for the correct one for my truck. i also wondered if the ones i was lookign at would work. and i asked the people selling them and they wouldnt give me any kind of answers. i think the only differences would be the flasher rates and loads that could be put on them. in my searching for flasher rates i even watch videos on youtube about how they used flashers on emergency vehicles to make the lights flash scatered like they do. it was pretty neat. how they made them flash with just making up some flashers can with different rates to make the lights flash light they do. if i would have know more back in june when i posted that would have helped a little more with this deal. well i couldnt remember my exact search on you tube. but it is kind of wig wag related.
