Aussie Vs Usa Dashboards

Post by cheek »

Hey guys,
I just noticed today another difference between the LHD and RHD trucks(i think),
The lower bit of the dashboard goes the full way on the RHD trucks unlike the LHD's
Is this a base model thing or is a rhd thing?

That is different and it's not a base model thing. If it's not a custom job than it must be a RHD thing.

I like that shifter you have on the floor is that standard or from another model retro to your truck and is it cable or link hookup?

Good day Cheek, thanks for starting this most interesting thread!

This is an interesting point. I'm right-handed; my right hand's the dominant one in just about every activity. Yet the idea of holding the wheel with my right hand while shifting with my left hand seems entirely alien to me! I don't feel like my right hand would be confident with holding the wheel all by itself. Isn't that funny!?

the pic of the white one does it have power steering? Cause otherwise you would have to turn that wheel preety fast just to turn. I wish i had power steering in mine.

no dash ducts at all on the top of the dash to defrost the windshield here.
