I just bent the tabs out of the way and put a single Din stereo CD player in mine using a basic install kit. No Volvo kit. I ground out my stock plate to fit the Stereo and that was not hard to do. I then put the metal door panels on my doors cut out for 6x9 Speakers without touching the metal of the doors and it sounds great. Granted they cannot hear my bass from 5 miles away but I don't like making every neighborhood I pass listen to my music anyway.
