New tutorial: Polishing Aluminum Trim

Post by FORDification »

I just got done posting a new tutorial (written by our own '2bocat') entitled Polishing Aluminum Trim. He provides a nice step-by-step procedure (along with some great photos) on how to rejuvenate worn-out trim. Definitely take a look.

Thanks Glenn! Great job!

Great job and tutorial, Glenn and Keith!! If you want "zoopseal" for half as much money, go to www.aircraftfinishing.com and look up "evershield"... same product, same factory, not all the hype and $$ (I used to be part owner).
One question I do have... is there harm in leaving the aluminum part in the lye solution too long?

Whoops! Totally my fault....I did that in the wee hours of the morning and my head wasn't on straight. The page title (and all links to it) have been changed to Polishing Aluminum Trim.

(For those of you wondering what he's talking about....I accidentally had the tutorial entitled 'Polishing Stainless Steel Trim'.)
