I am in search of a/c for my 1967 f100. I have found nostalgic air UD-150 under-dash evaporator for 68-72 but I have a 67. I emailed them and they said that as long as the dash is the same it will work but he didn't say if it would work with the factory heater installed. I have also emailed old air products about IP-6772 Underdash Slimline Inside Pkg, Cool Only, Ford P/U, 67-72 and the response I got back from them is it won't work with the original heater. I have also looked at lmc and they have one for a 68-72 that looks just like old air products but doesn't say anything about the heater. I have a replacement cab for my truck from a 72 but I am going to fill in the heater control so I can have the 67 controls and will likely have to use the heater also. I live in Alberta Canada so I need to keep my heater but I want both. I also want to keep the 67 heater controls so a underdash one would be the best if it will work. Does anyone have input or has anyone ever used either of these with the factory heater. I can't amagine that all the people that installed the under dash units in a bump has taken the original heater out. Maybe another option is what I need so here I am. Thanks

Old air products looks just like figure #8 in dealer add on a/c in the a/c tech article here.
