anyone know how to make a gas gauge start reading again if you have dual gas tanks? also how do i adjust the speedometer?

To ajust the speedo reading you would need to change the plastic gear inside the trans. take lose the speedo cable and the gear is looking at you, a little twist and pull and it should come out. Been years since ive changed the gear but from what i remember adding a tooth will slow down the speedo 3mph per tooth you add, and buying a gear with less teeth will speed up the speedo 3 mph per tooth. I think the only tank that has a gauge is the one behind the seat, the ones under the truck dont.

you can not adjust the speedometer. yo ucna only replace the plastic gear in the transmission. yo uneed to know tire size and the rear end size and then which transmission it will be needed for. the vendors sell the plastic speedo gears.
