Re: blinkers
I would start by trying a new "Flasher". It is #2 in this diagram http://www.fordification.com/tech/wiring/68-04.jpg it is mounted on the back side of the cluster.

Re: blinkers
The added info helps...
Check the fuse if it is ok then check the TSS connector and look at the Blue wire for power with a test light, make sure it has power on both sides of the connector. If it does then the TSS is probably the issue and I would pull the steering wheel off and take a look.

Re: blinkers
when you swap the cans do the blinkers work then. if they do you need a new flasher can.

Re: blinkers
they dont, i checked for power to the flasher can with a multimeter and i got nothing, nada, so i put an old power plug in the cigarette lighter and toutched the hot to one side of the flasher terminals, and bam blinkers, but i caint figgure out where its sopposed to get power from?

Re: blinkers
for a 68 i looked at this diagram. http://www.fordification.com/tech/wiring/68-23.jpg the power for the blinker flasher comes from the fuse box via wire number 950. and into the wiper switch. from the wiper switch wire number 8 supplies power up to the flasher can for the turn signals. through wire number 44 which goes into the turn signal switch. from the switch they go out to the lights. so if nothing at the flasher can go back to the wiper switch and then back to the fuse box. it could even be a bad connection on the back of the fuse box with the wire and the terminal that holds the wire.
