Dual Brake Idiot Light

On my 69/70 F250 there is an indicator light in the dash just above the parking brake. It seems to be part of the brake system, probably an idiot light telling me that the brakes have failed. I can't figure how to remove it with out breaking it. I want to move it over to my other truck that I am fixing.

Does anybody know how this is done?

reach under the dash and hol dthe socket out towards the dash. then push in and turn the bezel and it will come apart.there is a spring in there holdign tension. that is why you may want to push out on the socket on the back side.

Yeah I found the spring the other day. I will try pushing in and turning the bezel as you say.

It's similar to changing a taillight bulb. Push in and turn.

I have not been able to force it to turn. It does push in however. I suppose I should spray it with WD40 and let it soak a while.
