If you still have the stock mounting ears, you can buy one that fits at http://www.vintagevibes.com

They also sell a dual cone speaker that fits in the dash spot as well as ones that are supposed to fit under the seat.

FORDification wrote:You can install a CD player into your truck's slanted dash by using a Metra DIN radio installation kit #99-9222 for a '75-'93 Volvo. Flip the mounting piece upside down and attach it to the bent-back ears in your dash, which will allow the stereo to sit perfectly horizontal in the dash opening.
There are quite a few threads here on the forums with folks doing this. Do a search and you can even see some pics of completed installations.

Re: aftermarket radioo
Its the Metra 99-9222 for a 75-93 Volvo. It is pretty simple to put in if you still have the tabs to attach it to.

Hey Guys,
Will this Volvo instal kit work on my 67 F100? I know the 67 has a one of a kind radio. I want to instal a Pioneer stereo but don't know what instal kit to you for the aftermarket radio. Please let me know. Also, where can I get the instal kit? Thanks!

Ordered mine on Amazon. Got it for about 1/2 price. You can get it through Best Buy also.

Re: aftermarket radioo
I put mine in the glovebox so I didn't mess up the original appearance of the truck. Use an infra-red remote to operate the radio so you don't have to leave the glovebox door open.

How does this look? Amp is in the glove box, no modifications to the truck and we are good to go!
