I purchased a pair of seat brackets and now I am mocking in 66 mustang seats.
I am a big guy and need the room to fit under the steering wheel. I do not want to loose my nice vintage wheel so next step is to buy a tilt column if I still dont fit.
the seats are kinda roachy but we will see if they clean up and reupholster okay.
I hope that works out for you. Be watching for pics of it when you are done. I bet those seats will look good when recovered. I also like your use of roachy.

I'm doing the same thing right now, here is a few pictures of before and after. I bought the seat covers and foam from CJ Pony parts, after lots of research they had the best product and also the best price. I like the look of the "Pony" seat, the frames are 66 Mustang, These trucks never had this kind of seat cover but they look real good in the truck. I did not take any pictures when I test fitted them with the new covers but they looked great.

Do the Seat frames from a mustang mount up pretty close? I am loving the adjective roachy as well, really sets the mood.
I am committed to finding seat brackets for the bucket install,my rig has a sleeper and climbing over the late model bench in my roach is silly!

I like keeping the classic look of these trucks, the new seat make them look like an 80's truck inside.
Anyone using a period center console to match these seats? The only picture I have seen was a skinny wood covered console out of a 66 model f series. I would like to get a falcon, fairlane or other console to complete my sleeper restoration other wise I will probably use one of those plastic ones from the 80-90's.

here's the interior of a 66 ranger. i think they used a falcon style center console.
I got a set from him in December, they are high quality and worked perfect. I Bought new seat track hardware from CJ Pony Parts for the 66 Mustand seats, they also are high quality and fit perfect on the seats and on the reproduction floor mounts. I hope this helps.
