original bolts

Post by fordman »

does anyone know or remember what the two inside bolts that hold the factory a/c box up to the dash look like? are they a body looking bolt or are they a bolt that loks like the kick panel vent bolts?

5/16-18, has the head with a ring around it and a washer attached.

Not the same as a fender bolt, if that helps.

I'm not at home, so I can't get a pic for you.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

That's not an oil leak :nono: That's SWEAT from all that HORSEPOWER!!

ok thats what i thought. after i thought about it for a little bit. only thing is this is what i have. i have 3 of the ones on the left. and 6 of the ones on the right. two of the ones on the left probably go to through the firewall into the a/c box. 4 out of the 6 go to the kick panel vent seal. so i am left with one of the left ones. and two of the right ones. and no dash bolts to hold the a/c up. but this bow has been out before i can tell it was all taken apart and not all the screws were put back in it either.
