I don't remember the name but its over in the roofing area. It comes in roll. I looked at it and passed. You can get 50 sq ft of FATMAT for about the same price.

I think I might know what you're talking about... the rolled up, foil-type material that has a bubble-wrap-style center section? It's a type of insulation.

I put down a double layer of the stuff in my Chevy pickup and while it was better than the factory mat (though almost 2x as thick) it was certainly nowhere near as good as Dynamat. If you can afford the good stuff, go for it. (FWIW, the insulation that I bought was in the home insulation department at Home Depot.)

I bought some of the "QUICK ROOF" the other night at HD and put it in my doors, Worked great, 6" wide makes it easy to get into the doors and doors sound nice and solid now. One thing i did on one piece that i didnt do again was peel off the backing and try to install, If it sticks to its self its like ductape sticking together and dont want to turn lose. Peel off about a foot of backing to get started then peel as you go. Thanks for posting the video, stuff worked great.

Check out this thread. This might be more than your wanting to do, but damn this truck sounds good going down the road. He finishes up with a video after he completes his sound deadening project.

This is what I used. First I sprayed underlayment then put this down. When I put new carpet in I will also put in a sound mat down. Ought to be great.
