67 only rearview mirror

Post by CNM67 »

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find the mirror for the 67 only visor and mirror mount?

I know a guy who might have the bracket and I know has the smaller squareish mirror for the 67 Custom... I use the long narrow one that was with the standard cab and is 100% the same as the 66 Mustang with the push/rocker Day Night. The 67 Mustang had a "padded" mirror.

i went to ebay and looked at the bases. some of them seem flat where they mount and other are curved. the day night mirrors seem to be wider than the non day night mirrors. it looks as if the day night mustang mirrors wont fit between the 67 truck visors. is any of this right? i just asking from what i am seeing on ebay.

I will first start by saying that the day night Mustang mirror does fit; and I will follow with, I was mis-informed by some catalog that there were 2 different mirrors offered. There was only one style in 67.

The flatter brackets are from a Mustang; my truck had one when I bought it and it didn't fit for nothing! The angle of the windshield is different and the curve of the header is more round too. So since the mirror was nice, I kept it and found a 67 truck mirror bracket to add it to.
