1967 radio delete value

Post by Captain America »

How rare and desirable is a 1967 radio delete cover? I saw one at a junkyard this morning. It was in good shape. I spent a little time trying to remove it, but couldn't get a wrench to fit the nuts & didn't have a socket either. I may go back soon if it's worth my while.

not worth the trip by itself. If it's still there next time I go, I'll be sure I have a 7/16 in the tool bucket. Thanks again!

My dad did the same thing when he was driving the '67 I now have. He found a nice radio delete panel in a junkyard truck and pulled it and installed it. I am actually going to take it out and put in an original AM radio. It is not working, but I prefer the look of that to the delete panel. Not sure if I will keep the panel or try to sell it.

I would be interested in a 67 delete plate if someone has a nice one they would sell reasonably.
Mine has been butchered by the previous owner and this would cover up the mess.
