best seat cover supplier

I had my bench seat bottom and back sand blasted and I painted it. I need to put new padding and install a new cover.

Is the LMC seat repair kit worth the $35? I am guessing I need two, one for the seat and one for the back. I want to do a good job, is a matress pad good enough or do I lose some authenticity?

I would like a seat cover with velour or some type of softer fabric on the main part of the seat with vinyl in the middle. I know there are lots of posts talking about seat covers, but I am looking for specific feedback.
