Dent-side dash in Bump-side

Dent-side dash in Bump-side
Will a 73-77dash fit in a 67-72? Just curious because I always liked the dash in my old 77. Also, it already has the vents for AC and heat and I was wondering if you could make all that work in a bump-side. I would guess all the instrument panel wiring would not work easily.
