Gage cluster plastic replacement?

Post by Firebird »

Hello,

The gage cluster plastic in the '69 F100 we're working on is very yellow and hard to see through- is there anywhere that sells this piece, or would we be better off trying a headlamp restoration kit to try to buff the existing piece?

I also have the gage cluster in the the F500 I'm trying to sell in the classifieds that I could use instead, but I'd have to rewire it to work with the wiring in the F100. This would lower the value of the F500, but there's been no interest in it as of yet, so it's looking like it might be parted out or go to the junkyard anyway.

Thanks,
Michael

Yes you can get the lens. NPD,Dennis Carpenter and Mac's are just a few places to get it. They are also on ebay.
