Transmission Question

Post by Fixitgirl »

Ok I need help. I dropped the transmission in my 91 Ford. However, when I looked at the identificitation tag on the transmission it read:

F1TA
FC
A372516

Now I took this information to several local parts stores and no one can tell me what kind of transmission that it is so I can find the parts I need to fix it. Can anyone help me figure out what kind fo transmission it is?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

That would be a Mazda M5R2... rebuild kit should be about $350-400.
