F100 Bolt-on Yoke Driveshaft?

Post by FloridaPhil »

The truck C6 I'm swapping into my 2WD 1968 F100 has a short tail shaft and a bolt-on yoke. I've never seen a drive shaft with a slip joint built into it. What does this thing look like? Does it connect directly from the tailshaft to the rear or is it supported somewhere in the middle? I realize these are probably stupid questions, but I'm a beginner in this truck world. Thanks for the help! :hmm:
