2 Piece Driveshaft
okay someone please help I have a 68 Long bed with a 2 piece driveshaft I've had it down for so long ( Changing the engine out ) and I tried to get the carrier bearing off and pealed the rubber outer part off and threw it to the side because I had more important issue to get done before driveshaft went back in. Well that time is now and for the sake of me I can't remember which way it goes on the rubber toward rear axle or toward transmission.. I'm thinking it goes toward rear axle BUT it doesn't want to slip that far on so before I tap it down that far I want to make sure which way it goes on if it goes that way then it's not a problem it will just take some persuation to get it there not much but I just want to make sure... Thank You for any help!!
