Electrical wires going to my NP435 ?

Post by thefordguy »

Hi, I'm still getting to know my new '69 Ranger. I noticed that there are two electrical wires that seem to go to the top of the manual transmission. One wire seems to come directly from a factory wiring harness mounted to a frame rail. The other wire seemed to once be connected to a switch under the dash, as the power source. Would this mean that this truck has an overdrive? Let me know what you think. thanks.
