NP 435 question.

Post by wyowill »

I have a NP 435 with married transfer case from a '72 F-100. What is involved in removing the t-case and using transmission in a 4x2?

Thanks
Will

IIRC, 2WD NP435s have a different front mount pattern - square vs trapezoid as used on 4x4s.

You need to swap output shaft and find a matching tail housing. You also need to find speedometer gears.
