m5r2 swap
What clutch should I use to put a m5r2 5 speed behind a 1970 302? My flywheel is drilled for a long clutch but my m5r2 is a diaphram with the wrong bolt pattern. Is there a clutch kit with the long bolt pattern or do I need to redrill the flywheel.Finally figured it out,Jegs has a flywheel that fits early 302 and is drilled for modern diaphram clutch sets .Should be ready to roll soon. I would use a LUK clutch & redrill the flywheel........other opinions may vary...........Donnie
