drive shaft swap on 69 f-100

Post by buff »

Hello everyone, I can use some help. I have a 69 ford f-100 302,3 speed. I've been changing a lot of parts off a 79,one of which will be the auto transmission and I'm wondering if I could use the 79 one piece drive shaft on my 69 rather than the two piece that's on it now? If anyone knows even if I have to make some changes can you please let me know? Thanks to everyone who shares all the info on this site.

Not sure about other differences but I do know that the dent sides wheelbases were 2" longer than our bumps.
