Trade my running 390FE for a running 360FE

Hello all!!!

I recently missed out on a GREAT engine swap opportunity with a fellow member. So now, I am hoping (and praying) to find another one.

I have a 1968 F100. It originally came with a 360 and a 2 barrel carb. The first owner had a 390 put in and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and a Streetmaster Performance intake was added as well as an electric choke. The engine runs GREAT!!! I drive it regularly. The only problem with it right now is that the rear main seal is starting to leak and the headers have a slight leak at the head. It runs STRONG with no ticks, knocks or anything. I did recently find out that one head is from a 69 and the other is from a 72.

What I am wanting is a RUNNING 360 with a 2 barrel carb and a manual choke. I would like to do a swap with someone. I would drive in with my truck and drive out with a running 360. This would be best for someone who may have a 360 and is wanting to put a 390 in their truck. Hopefully we could do the swap at your location.

I have a video of my truck running and can email it to any interested party or I could call you and let you hear it over the phone. I'd like to stay within a 300 mile radius of the St.Louis area if at all possible. I found one at a salvage yard in KY already that they say runs great,but then I am stuck with my 390.

Why the desire for a 360? I'm restoring my truck and want the engine size and manual carb that would have came in it. Oh yeah,it has a high rise chrome breather and air filter assembly too.
