Seat from a 1993 F250 for.a 1968 Ranger

Post by Subzero »

Im trying to find a seat with headrests for the Ranger so its a little more safe and my head won't hit the back glass in an accident. I found this one seat with the built-in headrests from a 1993 F250 ( Powerstroke) that's in good shape. Its interesting that trucks didn't have headrests in them till the late 80s and 90s while cars had them a lot earlier. It appears the seat is one inch shorter than the 1968 one. Would this seat bolt right in or would mods need to be made? I saw this sites guide to the seats but it said F150 and this one is from an F250, is there a difference?
Thanks

No, there's no difference in the cab sheet metal. Just use your original seat tracks and it'll bolt right in.
