I have a 68 F100 and I am replacing the power parts with OE manual. Some quick history: my truck came with:manual steering, brakes and 3-on the tree manual tranny. First owner had a 390 put in to replace the 360. Along with the 390 came: power steering, brakes, and C6 Auto Tranny.
I'm looking for the following:
Correct Master Cylinder (unless I can remove the one from the power brake booster and use it) and brackets if needed,
Manual Steering Box,
In working condition 3-on the tree steering column,
3 speed manual tranny.
I'd be willing to trade my parts for yours or if you're looking to sell please name your price. Pictures help. I'm in the St.Louis,MO area.

You can reuse the master cylinder you already have. All the booster does is provide power assist, it doesn't change anything internally. You will need to find the rod that goes from the MC to the brake pedal, though. The booster has that rod built in, so the original rod that was in the MC has been removed.
AS far as MC brackets, the MC mounts directly to the firewall so no brackets required. You can probably sell the booster brackets for a decent price though. It seems someone is always looking for those.
I don't have any of the parts you need, unfortunately.

I live out I44 in Sullivan, MO. There's a yard close to me with a few trucks, I haven't looked for the parts you need, though. I do have a 3-speed tranny in my truck that I'm never gonna use. My truck has the 240 six in it so I'm not sure if you could just change the bellhousing or not. I might be taking the day off Thursday, maybe a good day to do the junkyard crawl. Where are you in the STL area?

Thanks for the VERY helpful info Flyboy. That helps A LOT. Now just to find that rod. As the C6 was put in to replace the 3-on the tree I am going to change the pedals too and I found a set of those already.
