What rear end gear ratio?

So I checked the rear end ratio in my truck & I think I will swap it out. Just looking for some input of what others are using.
'69 F-250 LWB w/300" 6 & 3 speed stick.Rear end is a Dana 60. P265/75R16 tire. Current rear end has a 4.10 posi. Poor think runs at 3k to go 65 on the freeway.
I'm thinking a 3.54 would be a good choice.
The most this thing is probably gonna haul is a pair of 2 stroke dirt bikes to the desert.
