re: aftermarket steering wheels
I bought a Grant ($30) and placed a 1.5" Ford logo on the horn cap. The logo is used on wheel center cups. Looks pretty nice. Take a look.

I think that LMC wheel is rediculously expensive though if im not mistaken. I have a nice carrera(sp?) wheel in my 69 and a nice chrome grant in my 68. Grant makes a nice selection with some a good value.

re: aftermarket steering wheels
Your being funny right
I don't even know what a galaxy 66 is, I am not real hip with the CB world. I mainly use it for traffic alerts and talking to a couple people I sometimes catch on the road. I hate the cord that is attached to the mic. Its not very flexable (very stiff).
Why do you want a Uniden? Aren't they middle class? I bought it because it was on sale many years ago.

re: aftermarket steering wheels
I was saying I'd trade some Truck Parts for the Galaxy I have if you wanted it.But if thats all you do with yours then this will be to much of a CB for your use.
I use to work on CB's and use to Compete in Key-Downs.I ran some Big Boxs with my set ups.but now I'm out of it and have sold most of what I had.

re: aftermarket steering wheels
He really wants to get rid of that DX66!! This is at least the second post Ive seen on it, hehhe. I might even have a few old Unidens to trade with you if you need one that badly. If your more interested in some of the older Phillipino model Cobra 29s and 148s I have a few of those as well, in addition to a few Unidens, Connex's, Galaxy's, etc. I also have Cobra factory service manuals and schematics, etc. for just about any radio on the planet. I closed my shop a few years back in Idaho and dont do much with radios anymore. I kept some of the "good old" radios and boxed them up.
Now I just need to replace my original broken steering wheel.....didnt mean to hijack the thread!
