just did trans oil change filter stamped fomoco is it a classic?

I recently bought a 69 f 250 Camper special 390 c6 trans the truck sat for 12 years and supposed to be 65k original miles with all the oil leaks i kinda wonder though just wondering if the fomoco thing was a classic logo of fords and what year they stopped using it on there parts ? thanks :fr:

Probably original. Even Ford would have installed a motorcraft one in the '70's.

My luck with auto's has always been that they fail once I open them up. :doh:

Thanks yeah there was a big deal about the original 65K now for a 46 year old motor not that imressive with all the oil and trans leaks although the transmission was immaculate inside along with the pan i expected dirt burn marks it looked new or rebuilt since they used regular gas i ,had to learn about using 15/40 diesel oil or high zinc oils , running lead additive in the gas type F fluids and that to keep it alive I had gas in my oil and i just changed the pump and block gasket hope it did not score my cylinders/rings ....
