Speedometer cable Help 4wd & 2wd

Post by tnab1970 »

OK, here is what we have done. We put a 1969 f100 2wd cab onto a 1973 f250 4wd frame. frame has a C6 and NP205 transfer case. Problem is the 1973 speedo cable has the wrong end on the gage cluster side and the 1969 cable has the wrong end on the transfer case side plus is too short. I am sure we are not the first to run across this. I just know how to fix it. Thanks in advance

I found on the FAQ page of the 4wd drive forum. I ordered the cable. Guy knew exactly what I was talking about built and shipped same day. Now just waiting for it to arrive.
