fuel tank pick up tube
does anyone know the size of the pick up tube inside the tank 67-72? kinda odd question i know. i’m trying to decide how to approach hooking up fuel injection. thanks

Pretty sure it's a 5/16" steel line as the fitting on the top where the line connects is a 5/16" inside flare fitting.

figured it out, bought a tank from LMC 5 years ago so not original, but this one is 3/8. 5/16 line does come off the tank, however an adapter was sold with the tank for folks that’s had a 3/8 line for the later model years starting ‘70 i think.

How's the quality of the LMC tank?
Just curious as so...many guys here have fuel issues related to our tanks.
Glad you got it working, and will remember the connection being 3/8".

quality is good, just like oem. if i wasn’t sentimental about this truck though, i’d probably consider a rear tank if buying a new one.
