Hidden antenna’s any good?

Post by Big specht »

I’m looking to put a radio in my 69. It never had a radio so I don’t want to drill a hole in the fender. Are those hidden antenna’s any good?

Ok that was the one that keep coming up when I looked. Do you think it would still work good if it was hid under the dash or behind the seat?

I have one that is similar to the one linked above. It seems to work fine but I haven't been on any road trips to really test it. I have one of those plastic dash covers so I was able to put the antenna on top of the speaker grill after cutting away the old busted foam. The plastic cover goes over it an hides it nicely.

No road trips in the near future, sorry. I'm working from home and have a daily driver to boot. I can tell you that I get the same FM stations in the bump that my dd gets.
