I have the instrument cluster with warning/idiot lights....but want to retrofit the oil pressure gauge from a 4 gauge donor cluster.
i have an aftermarket volt meter fitting but clurious how i can direct wire the oil pressure gauge to by pass the printed circuit board...?

Simple answer is to tap the wire in the instrument panel multi-connector and run it to the gauge.
However, it is rarely that easy. The sender and the gauge are usually matched to each other and need to both be changed. In that case, just run a wire back to your new gauge from a new sender.
