auto to manual trans swap & backup lights

I swapped the 390 & C6 trans out of my 71 F100 Ranger XLT to a 347 & M5R2 manual trans from an 88 F150. I left all ahto column parts, shift selector in the truck. My backup lights still work by moving the auto trans shift selector to reverse. Anyone know how to connect the backup lights to reverse gear on my stick trans ? I'd like to leave the auto trans wiring in tact and maybe jump the wires over to the stick trans. The auto trans does have a 2 pole reverse light switch screwed into the top area by the trans tunnel. It was close to hitting the tunnel so I hammered if flat out of the way. I can get another. I don't like electrical and get confused pretty easy on that stuff. I do have a neighbor who is great on it. Any simple easy fixes for the backup lights ? Besides putting the auto selector in reverse when I put the trans in reverse.
