Gas Cap is it vented or not??

I’m wanting to get rid of the ugly gas cap and neck sticking out the drivers side and put a push through gas cap and neck on the inside of the cab for the time being Is the existing gas cap vented or not if so I can drill and tap a hole in the side of the neck and run a vent hose down and out. I would love to make a it a flush mount but all the kits that I’ve looked at their just so big for the amount of sheet metal and the curve in that area is just impossible to use. I anyone has pictures and ideas of I would love to see them. I was out at the GoodGuys Lone Star show and the best one I saw and fell in love with is the gas tank was under the bed and the filler was behind the driver taillight BUT right now I’m concentrating on getting the truck back up an on the road after setting in my shop for a couple of years.
