So I did the weatherstrip and windows yesterday
Man that's nice!
My truck is a '70 F250 XLT and I think I just removed the original rubber from it's channels.
It's so quiet and comfy now I just want to get a sleeping bag and take a nap in the cab. I guess the next fix up will either be the floor mat or the door panels with new handles.
I thought I would never get that glue off my fingers.

I got the Door kit from JCWhitney and the window kit from buycarwheels.com Took 3 days shipping each. The installation took 3 hours on the first door but the old window channels were stuck real good. The second door might have took an hour to do. I also greased the window crank channels and replaced the lock arm retainer clips.green71F100 wrote:I need this bad. where did you get the stuff and how long did it take?
It's so quiet and tight now. My ears even get stuffed when I pull the doors closed if all the windows are closed.

Actually before I replaced all the rubber I would get fumes. Now they are gone.cooltoolguy wrote:weather strip whats that? mine fell off . its a little breezy but it keeps the exhaust fumes from building up in the cab that way i wont pass out
