Any thoughts on removing the clutch pedal? Previous owner put in auto and just hid pedal under carpet!!!! Little tacky but would like to remove pedal and keep existing assembly. Are they the same on the manual vs auto trucks? If not, has anybody put a spacer on the shaft to take up the space of the pedal?
Any suggestions always welcomed.

Yea, they are the same. Maybe someone has a pin from an auto truck they could sell you.
If not, the pin is 5/8" diameter. You could get a bolt of the appropriate length, so that no threads are in the bushing area, then use some washers on the nut end to make everything nice and snug.

You may be right, but I seem to recall it wasn't. I don't have it any more (it went to Texas) or I'd look.
